A source said the man had posted a slogan from the 2019 social unrest and the banned protest song “Glory to Hong Kong” in dozens of allegedly seditious entries on social media under an alias.

“He had also put up pamphlets that would incite others to commit sedition in multiple crowded spots in Kowloon,” the source said.

A police spokesman said the man was arrested on Monday and was brought to West Kowloon Court on Wednesday.

A court document obtained by the Post shows that the man is accused of making seditious posts on two social media platforms between June 27 last year and this Monday.

The document lists his occupation as a catering server.
