
While the Linux Vendor Firmware Service (LVFS) and Fwupd firmware update utility has been enjoying much success in the consumer space, over in the Linux server space it's been a slower roll-out but still seeing some adoption by different server ODMs and supporting Redfish and other plug-ins relevant for firmware updating in the Linux data center space. Hopefully with Richard Hughes' presence at PremDay will help in convincing more hardware vendors to go the LVFS/Fwupd route.
