Ahead of Mother’s Day this weekend, Apple has shared an of a mom getting to relive her baby’s first year thanks to Vision Pro and spatial video captured on iPhone.

Apple’s new video, “ ,” tells the story of a mother and father to a 1-year-old son.

Khulan and Sam spent the first year of their son’s life filming him in spatial video using iPhone .

Then, as a Mother’s Day surprise, Sam edited the videos into a film which Khulan was able to experience on Vision Pro.

Apple’s video tells their story, and provides a glimpse into what that experience was like for Khulan.

Spatial video is the kind of iPhone feature I don’t think about often, but it’s touching to see how it can be used to help preserve important memories like a child’s first year of life.
