Deals: M4 iPad Pro $329 off, black Apple Watch Ultra 2 $120 off, ecobee HomeKit thermostat and doorbell, more

Today’s best Apple deals include wearables, tablets, accessories, earbuds, and more. Firstly, we have some seriously notable open-box deals with the and one of the better deals this year on the . Next we have a new all-time low on Apple’s and some notable offers on ecobee HomeKit gear – the premium and one of the best prices ever on its . All of that and more awaits below in today’s 9to5Toys Lunch Break .

So far this year we are yet to see the drop below the $720 mark in brand new condition. That’s a solid deal for a new model, especially considering the doorbuster prices last holiday season rarely ever saw the latest model drop to the $700 mark. But if you are looking to land a black Apple Watch Ultra 2 in the first half of 2025 at a discount instead of waiting for the likely debut of Apple Watch Ultra 3 at full price later this year, we did spot a notable open-box offer with a full Apple warranty attached .

While the open-box prices on the other brand configurations have now gone up closer to the $720 new price we spotted last week, you can land the with the matching black Trail Loop .

This is an “excellent” condition unit – there are lower prices on “good” and “fair” units but tend to stay away from those just in case the condition is less than stellar, and the prices are rarely low enough to warrant taking the chance. Best Buy’s excellent listings work and look like new, according to the retailer, and, in this case, ship with a proper 1-year Apple warranty.

There was once a time when we saw the Natural Titanium Apple Watch Ultra 2 models drop below $700 here and there, but that was before the black model released last fall. Since then, it is rare to see any model fall to $700, never mind less than that. As of right now, the best new price on the at Amazon – that’s the regular $799.

Here’s the latest on Apple Watch Ultra 3 from our cohorts over at 9to5Mac :

Amazon is giving folks another shot at on one of Apple’s mid-range M4 iPad Pro configurations. The has now dropped down back down to in silver, knocking $200 off the regular $1,499 list price to match the lowest price we have tracked on Amazon. As of right now only the silver model is down this low, but you can score both colors for even less with the open-box listings we will detail below.

Scoring the 512GB 13-inch iPad Pro with the M4 chip for any better than $200 off is and has been next to impossible – you might get lucky with some YMMV or in-store deals, but even then it’s not likely.

In “excellent” open-box condition at Best buy, however, is another story. Best Buy’s excellent open-box listings, as you might know by now, ship with a full 1-year Apple warranty alongside units that look and work like new. They also deliver some of the only ways to score the latest and hottest Apple gear releases for less than you might find over at Amazon:

Clearly the silver model is seeing the best deals today – this open box offer knocks over $329 off the list price to deliver one of the best deals we have tracked to date.

But if you’re not interested in the open-box treatments, you can browse the updated list of discounted pricing across the lineup in new-condition below instead:

There are still some lingering $100 price drops across select configurations of the latest M3 iPad Air, but for some folks saving even more on an arguably quite comparable M2 is worth a look. Right now Amazon is offering the . That’s $200 of the original $899 list price and the lowest price we have tracked on Amazon for this configuration.

The $200 off might not seem like a huge discount for a now previous-generation iPad, but we are talking about a machine that was the latest and greatest Air not all that much more than 2 months ago. A has never dropped below $799 – – and the deals on the iPad Air lineup haven’t been nearly as deep as the Pro model over the last year or so. Keep in mind it took over a year for the M2 512GB to drop as low as we have today, so you might be waiting until late spring 2026 before something like this hits the M3.

While there’s no denying the M3 chip is a more powerful solution than the M2, I might argue that more than a few folks wouldn’t even notice the difference considering the sorts of tasks they might be taking on with an iPad. To be honest, I’m not sure I could even tell if we are just talking about some social networking action, watching YouTube videos and movies, video chatting with friends and family and so on.

As we mentioned above pricing is starting to jump back up on the M3 lineup and you can take a look at where we are at with them down below for reference:

While we are still tracking a particularly notable discount on the , Amazon has now dropped the price even lower on its . Most models and colors across the M4 MacBook Air lineup are still sitting at $150 off on Amazon, but it has now dropped the colorway down to to deliver a new all-time low.

Regularly $1,599, this configuration is now $173 off the going rate to undercut our previous all-time low mention from earlier this week and deliver the best price we have tracked on any color at Amazon (or anywhere else online). As of right now, the silver model has jumped back up close to full price, the Sky Blue is at $150 off, and the Starlight variant is going for , or $172 off the list price.

Again, folks who would prefer the more compact can also take advantage of even lower pricing on the upgraded 24GB model with the 512GB SSD right now – it is currently sitting at , or roughly $200 under the price of the 15-inch model. But for those of you specifically looking for the extra screen real estate and an injection of RAM power, today’s deal is certainly worth consideration at the lowest Amazon price to date.
