
The Proteus Controller Kit officially supports Windows, Xbox, and SteamOS 3.7 and newer was already patched for supporting this controller. Now for the Linux 6.16 kernel there is the support in place with the mainline kernel.

As written about last month, Griffais authored the patch for Byowave Proteus with the XPad driver . Unlike other controllers, special handling in the XPad driver was needed for delayed initialization packets.
