Leadtek WinFast Hurricane gets Ti treatment

A first RTX 3080 Ti to leak ahead of launch.

We have seen leaked photos of RTX 3080 Ti from warehouses and retailers, for the first time we get to see official photos of the new NVIDIA SKU from one of the board partners. Leadtek is refreshing its RTX 3080 WinFast Hurricane with a more capable GA102-225 GPU and more memory.

The RTX 3080 Ti model is essentially identical to RTX 3080, both cards feature the same board and cooler designs. We have not noticed any changes in design, which further confirms that both NVIDIA SKUs have a lot in common, including the same GPU and same TDP (320W). It is probably worth noting that official Leadtek renders do not show power connectors, but RTX3080/3090 models can be easily found on various YouTube videos. That said, this model is expected to continue using dual 8-pin connectors, in fact, even the RTX 3090 Hurricane has the same configuration.

Leadtek WinFast Hurricane is a semi-custom card, which means that the card features an NVIDIA reference board design but features a custom 3-slot triple-fan cooling solution.  This model is to feature 10240 CUDA cores and 12GB GDDR6X memory, which is confirmed in the first photo. NVIDIA is now set to announce RTX 3080Ti and RTX 3070 Ti on May 31st during its Computex keynote. The graphics card will go on sale on June 4th.
