As we approach the 2025 4th of July holiday, we are starting to see a decent selection of deals on Apple’s latest iPad lineup and the most affordable of them all is now . You can land the latest in all four colorways again on Amazon to bring home Apple’s least pricey 2025 tablet release, and they are selling for even less in open-box condition at Best Buy right now.
While we have seen select colors for a touch less at Amazon in very limited sales, we are tracking right now is otherwise the best we have seen to date. And, all things considered, bringing home a current-generation iPad, even if it is the least powerful model, is a steal at this price if you ask me.
When it comes to users that are just looking for a casual experience – web browsing, social media, video chatting with friends and the fam, some entertainment while traveling, and this sort of thing – the iPad A16 delivers a ton of value at $299.
While it might not be worth it for some, the open-box listings at Best Buy are a touch lower than that even, complete with 1-year Apple warranties in “excellent” condition as well. We aren’t talking massively lower prices here, but you can bring the right now – the as well ( and hit the Open Box link above the Add to Cart button), but they aren’t quite as low as the silver.
The next most affordable iPad in the current-generation lineup is also on sale right now – the . This is the least pricey model that supports Apple Intelligence and we are now tracking just about every configuration in the lineup . All of the details you need on these deals are waiting .
Our details everything you need to know on the new iPad (A16).

Amazon has now dropped the latest . Regularly $129, this is matching the lowest price we have tracked on Amazon since a couple short-lived holiday offers last year and the fall discounts that haven’t returned since.
While we are very much hoping to see the Apple Pencil Pro drop down lower than this , with the way pricing has gone over the last half year or so, it’s hard to say if we will get lucky or not. But even if we do, it’s not likely to fall much lower – it has never sold for less than $90 at Amazon and hasn’t dropped lower than $99 since December.
There have also been some notable refurbished and open-box listing at retailers like Woot and Best Buy this year that dropped the price down further. But as of right now the “excellent” condition open-box units at Best Buy are only a few bucks under the new price at Amazon.
Apple’s latest pro-grade Pencil ups the tech with additional gestures and haptics as well as delivers Apple Find My features alongside compatibility on most off the latest iPad releases:
- iPad Pro 13-inch (M4)
- iPad Pro 11-inch (M4)
- iPad Air 13-inch (M2 and M3)
- iPad Air 11-inch (M2 and M3)
- iPad mini (A17 Pro)

Just about every 13-inch model as part of 4th of July sales – all of the details on those , but we just spotted an even deeper deal on the . Regularly $1,999, Amazon is now charging , or over $299 off the list price.
While there was a short-lived offer available on this model at $1,599 recently, that deal went in and out of stock a few times and wasn’t particularly available to everyone for any overly long stretches of time – this 2TB model was completely sold out yesterday. And frankly, anytime we see M4 iPad Pro models at $200 or more off in brand new condition, it is worth mentioning.
This 2TB model we are featuring here today, for example, is carrying an $1,899 sale price as part of the Best Buy 4th of July sale right now, and is now dramatically less than that at Amazon today. As of right now, only the Space Black variant is seeing the particularly deep deal.
But, $1,700 is still quite the investment for folks looking at a high-end iPad experience or not, and there are deals live this week across the lineup at a whole lot less than that:

Amazon is once again offering on the latest . This includes all three storage capacities: 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB, as well as most of the Wi-Fi + Cell variants of each. All colors of the standard Wi-Fi models are now on sale again, and most of the Cell paint jobs are too. The , and you’ll find more details below.
While we have seen some select colors of the more pricey storage capacity models go for a touch less at Amazon – mainly that purple 256GB config that has dropped $10 less to $689 a couple times, just about all of the options are now matching the lowest prices we have tracked on Amazon since release last fall:
There were also a couple chances to score some deeper deals on the higher-end storage models for less over at Costco, but those offers were short-lived at best and only available to paid members.
Best Buy’s “excellent” condition are one way you can land the most affordable config for less than this, but it is tough to recommend going for those right now considering they are only $20 or so less than the brand new models at Amazon today.
