微軟本週宣佈包括SharePoint Server、Exchange Server等伺服器本地部署授權 ，將從7月調漲10%。而且用户端授權費也將於8月調漲。

微軟説，為了支援本地部署軟體的持續維護和更新，所有單獨本地部署伺服器價格，包括SharePoint Server、Exchange Server及Skype for Business Server，從7月起調價。同時，用户端核心存取授權（Core Client Access License，CAL）套件和企業版Enterprise CAL Suite將從8月1日起，分別調漲15%和20%。

這些調整適用於本地版伺服器產品，不影響SharePoint Online、Exchange Online和Teams，不論是個別採購或經由Microsoft 365授權購買的用户。

連同Exchange Server本地部署版的漲價，微軟還宣佈Exchange Server訂閲版本（Subscription Edition，SE）和Skype for Business訂閲版本7月起正式上市。

Exchange Server訂閲版本（和Skype for Business訂閲版本）是為了偏好本地部署，不想用代管版本的企業而設計。 微軟解釋 ，和舊式產品差別在於SE由現代生命週期政策（Modern Lifecycle Policy）治理，這表示產品會持續獲得支援，Exchange SE codebase會永遠在最新狀態，不再像過去以年份編號（如Exchange Server 2019）有版本差異。

Exchange Server SE訴諸Exchange Server 2019、2016及2013用户升級。微軟説，為簡化從Exchange Server 2019就地升級到Exchange SE RTM，和Exchange Server 2019 CU15相較，SE版沒有移除或增加功能，AD schema不會變動、不需新的授權金鑰，安裝條件也沒變動。

Exchange Server 2019企業用户可以直接執行從Exchange Server 2019 CU(cumulative update) 14/15升級到Exchange Server SE。但Exchange Server 2013及2016的版本，則必須先升級到Exchange Server 2019 CU 14/15才能升級到SE。
