Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman has previously indicated that the iOS 26 public beta was likely to drop on around July 23 – and there may now be additional support for that date.
A leaker with a solid track record has shared information suggesting that developer beta 4 will be available sometime today, which would potentially allow the public beta to land tomorrow …
Apple has said only that the public betas for iOS 26, iPadOS 26, macOS 26, watchOS 26, and tvOS 26 will be available sometime in July . We’re already later in the month than usual, and there’s not a lot of July left now!
Gurman said a week ago that he was expecting the public beta “around the 23rd,” which is of course now tomorrow. We’d expect a developer beta 4 before then, which would mean that would have to drop sometime today.
A previously accurate anonymous account on X today shared claimed build numbers for the 4th developer betas.
- iOS 26 and iPadOS 26 beta 4 (23A5297i)
- macOS 26 beta 4 (25A5316i)
- tvOS 26 and HomePod Software 26 beta 4 (23J5316g)
- watchOS 26 beta 4 (23R5317g)
- visionOS 26 beta 4 (23M5300g)
The public betas landing just a day after the final developer betas would be tight, but not impossible if there are very few changes from developer beta 3.
