Intel Core 5 120 and 120F 6-core LGA1700 Processors Priced

Intel Core 5 120 and 120F are touted as the company's new entry level processors targeting gamers. These chips conform to the company's newer processor model nomenclature, but are based on the "Alder Lake" H0 silicon. If you recall, half the 12th Gen Core desktop processor series was based on the smaller "Alder Lake" H0 silicon that physically lacks E-cores, and has six "Golden Cove" P-cores that each have 1.25 MB of L2 caches and share 18 MB of L3 cache, making this a traditional multicore processor with 6-core/12-thread. ShopBLT has early pricing of the two chips, with the Core 5 120 being offered for $246, and the Core 5 120F at $216. Both are significantly higher than what Intel set out to do with the Core 1-series desktop processors, and it's likely that these chips end up with pricing deep under $180, possibly even under $150.
