SilverStone Launches RM53-502 5U Workstation Chassis

SilverStone today launched the RM53-502, a workstation chassis that allow you to either use it as a 5U rackmount, or sideways as a tower. The 5U form-factor allows you to pack your workstation with tall add-on cards and elaborate self-contained liquid cooling setups. In its example build, SilverStone highlighted cooling possibilities such as a 360 mm radiator along the case's 3x 120 mm intake, besides three separate 80 mm intakes. There is a 140 mm rear exhaust, while a bracket on top of the add-on cards holds a further two 80 mm fans, if your cards are of standard 11.5 cm height. This bracket can be removed for additional height clearance. There is plenty of room for a high-Wattage PSU or a redundant compound PSU, while the front side of the case has drive cages, including a multi-function cage that can either be used for some drives or an SFX PSU.

SilverStone recommends pairing this case with some of its other products, such as the XE360PDD, a 360 mm AIO CLC with two CPU water blocks for 2P EPYC or Xeon Scalable setups, the FHS80X high airflow 80 mm fan, or the FHS120X high airflow 120 mm fan. The motherboard tray supports SSI-EEB, SSI-CEB, E-ATX, or smaller form-factors, with 8 expansion slots. Depending on how you configure your cooling, there's room for graphics cards up to 45 cm in length, and CPU coolers up to 17.8 cm in height. The case measures 440 mm (W) x 220 mm (H) x 485 mm (D).
Many more pictures of the case follow.
