Intel's entry-level Socket LGA1851 desktop processor powered by the "Arrow Lake" microarchitecture, the Core Ultra 3 205, briefly resurfaced on European online stores after it seemingly disappeared. The chip was listed on French online store PC21 at €155.46 including VAT, or €129.55 without VAT. Its USD pricing can be calculated at $140 without taxes.
The Core Ultra 3 205 is based on a heavily cut-down variant of the "Arrow Lake-S" silicon with its smaller Compute tile. The chip offers a 4P+4E core configuration, which makes it an 8-core/8-thread processor. It has four "Lion Cove" P-cores that lack HTT, and one "Skymont" E-core cluster with four cores. Each of the four P-cores has 3 MB of dedicated L2 cache, while the "Skymont" cluster features 4 MB of L2 cache shared among the four E-cores. The 4 P-cores and 4 E-cores share a 15 MB L3 cache. The P-cores tick at 3.80 GHz base with 4.90 GHz maximum boost; while the E-cores do 3.20 GHz base with 4.40 GHz boost. The iGPU features just two Xe Cores, and an engine clock of up to 1.80 GHz. The chip comes with a 57 W processor base power, and 76 W maximum turbo power.
