TechPowerUp today released the latest version of TechPowerUp GPU-Z, the graphics sub-system information and diagnostic utility for gamers and PC enthusiasts. Version 2.68.0 comes with several updates and fixes. To begin with, support is added for NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050, RTX Pro 2000 Blackwell Laptop, and RTX 3050 A Laptop. Support is also added for Moore Threads S3000E.
With this latest version, TechPowerUp GPU-Z includes a security update for the way the application unpacks its kernel-mode driver. In theory, a timing-based attack could swap the GPU-Z KMD file with a malware driver if timed properly. This replacement file would still need to be digitally signed, so this is not a critical issue, however its fix is nice to have. Next up, is a crash we identified with GPU-Z after running the installer. Lastly, the "Monster Notebook" vendor name has been corrected to Monster Computer. Grab GPU-Z from the link below.
