The 49U950A-W pairs a 32:9 Nano IPS DQHD panel with a 5120x1440p resolution and a 3800R curve, and LG highlights a maximum refresh rate of 144 Hz. Adaptive sync support includes AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and G-SYNC Compatible modes. The company presents the monitor as a single-screen alternative to dual-monitor setups, and it highlights factory color calibration as a benefit for creative professionals. The full specification sheet describes a typical brightness of 400 nits, approximately 98 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut, and an 8-bit color depth, which supplies about 16.7 million colors. Native contrast is listed at 1,000:1, and the panel offers a 5 ms gray-to-gray response, with an additional motion blur reduction mode that LG rates as providing a 1 ms effective experience.
