We've already reported on the upcoming Logitech MX Master 4 mouse, but now full details, including pricing and the launch date have appeared online, courtesy of WinFuture.de. Also revealed is what the new thumb rest button is and it goes under the name of Actions Ring which is said to be integrated with the new Logitech Options app that allows the user to perform various customisable actions. Exactly what these are, we'll have to wait for the launch of the new mouse to see. One new feature that wasn't revealed by earlier leaks is the new Haptic Sense feature that is said to offer haptic/vibration feedback, also to the thumb area of the mouse. This is meant to work with various notifications, actions and shortcuts, but again, it's not entirely clear what kind of benefits this brings to the user.
Other previously unknown features include an 8000 DPI Darkfield sensor and the MX Master 4 will be supplied with a Logi Bolt dongle, but it also works over Bluetooth. As with previous models, the Mx Master 4 can be paired with multiple computers or devices and switch between them. It will come in graphite and light grey colours and will weigh in at 150 grams. The 500 mAh battery is said to be good for up to 70 days of usage. Finally, the MX Master 4 should arrive on the 30th of September for €130 in the European market, which will most likely be US$130.
