Dell Introduces Pro Essential Business-Ready Laptop Series

Kevin Terwilliger, vice president of PC product management at Dell Technologies, recently announced the launch of Dell Pro Essential, a new line of business-oriented laptops. This launch comes after getting input from SMBs, distributors, and channel partners. The Pro Essential series aims to give businesses a budget-friendly yet dependable choice striking a balance between security, ease of management, and toughness without any frills. The range includes 14-inch and 15-inch models with both Intel and AMD chips. You can get the PV14250 (14-inch) and PV15250 (15-inch) with Intel inside, while the PV14255 and PV15255 come with AMD CPUs. Intel setups start from the Core 3 100U (6 cores up to 4.7 GHz) and go up to the Core 7 150U (10 cores up to 5.4 GHz), with 13th-gen i5 and i7 chips also on offer for the 15-inch models. On the AMD side, you can pick anything from the basic Ryzen 3 7320U to Ryzen 7 chips, including Ryzen AI 5 330H (50 TOPS NPU, 4 cores, up to 4.5 GHz) and Ryzen AI 7 350H (50 TOPS NPU, 8 cores, up to 5.0 GHz) processors..

The 14-inch models feature FHD+ 1920 x 1200 displays, 300-nit brightness, IPS WVA panels, and anti-glare coatings. They weigh 1.5 kg and measure under 2 cm thick (with aluminium chassis for Ryzen AI based variants). The 15-inch versions provide standard FHD displays with similar build quality. Every model comes equipped with 8 GB DDR5 RAM (up to 32 GB), 512 GB NVMe SSD storage (up to 1 TB), and Windows 11 Pro. You'll find USB 3.2 Gen 1/2, USB-C with Power Delivery HDMI 1.4, and Wi-Fi 6 for connecting devices. The battery choices range from 41 Whr to 54 Whr paired with 65 W AC adapters.
