DOOM Eternal's next-gen PC and console updates are launching on June 29th
At E3 2021, Microsoft has announced that DOOM Eternal is getting next-generation updates on PC, Xbox and PlayStation, delivering higher-resolution visuals and higher framerate options on Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5. DOOM Eternal's next-gen updates will be released on June 29th.
On PC, gamers with ray tracing compatible graphics cards will be able to enable ray-traced reflections within DOOM Eternal, and users of Nvidia RTX graphics cards will be able to utilise DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling) to enable enhanced performance using AI-powered upscaling.
Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PlayStation 5 will all support 120 FPS modes on compatible TVs/monitors and both Xbox Series X, and PlayStation 5 will support hardware-accelerated ray tracing in Ray Tracing Mode.
