NVIDIA Allegedly Reducing Supply of RTX 5060 / 5060 Ti 8 GB Cards to Partners

According to the report coming from Board Channels, NVIDIA is reducing the supply of GeForce RTX 5060 and RTX 5060 Ti with 8 GB of memory to its board partners, most likely to maintain the price and prevent the oversupply. The report says that NVIDIA board partners have plenty of these GPUs in inventory, so the supply will be cut by 15 percent for the RTX 5060 Ti and 30 percent for the RTX 5060.

Both these graphics cards are based on a variant of the GB206 GPU, and such a move does not come as a big surprise considering that NVIDIA did not focus on 8 GB versions during launch. The report also does not specify if these cuts only apply to desktop models, as it is possible that laptop versions could be affected too.
