Apple Maps gets a ‘Chief of War’ tour guide with spots in Hawai’i and New Zealand

If you’ve been watching on Apple TV+ and you’re anything like me, you probably spend quite a good amount of time of each episode marveling at the fantastic landscapes.

Now, thanks to a new Apple Maps guide, you can take a virtual tour, or plan actual visits, to the parks, beaches, campgrounds, and even historic palaces featured in the show. Here’s how.

As on the Apple TV+ X account, all you have to do is look for on Apple Maps, and you’ll see “Chief of War Tour: Hawai’i & New Zealand” among the results.

Once you tap or click on it, you’ll be taken to a gallery that currently has 10 places featured on the show, with possibly more to come.

The list includes:

  • Bethells Beach
  • Kualoa Ranch
  • Kalapana State Wayside Park
  • Hūnānāniho Campground
  • Puukohola Heiau National Historic Site

All sites have complementary information, like opening hours, a brief description of its historical context and significance, and an image of a scene from that specific spot.
