Pedestrian struck by bus in Brampton

A pedestrian has serious injuries after being struck by a transit bus in Brampton.

Emergency crews were called to the area of The Gore Road and Queen Street East just after 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday.

The pedestrian has been transported to a local hospital for treatment.

The area is closed to traffic while police investigate the collision.
