Intel releases first drivers only for discrete and integrated Arc Graphics
The latest drivers for Arc Graphics feature optimizations for Silent Hill f.
Following the official confirmation about the split in Intel graphics driver branching, the company has now released its first Arc-only driver. Moving forward, gamers who want the most up-to-date drivers should look for the “Arc Graphics” package, rather than the previous “Arc & Iris Graphics” release.
Intel confirmed that 11th Gen Core through 14th Gen Core CPUs with integrated Xe graphics will no longer receive day-0 drivers for new games. Instead, these architectures have been moved to a new branch that will only get quarterly security updates. For gamers seeking the latest game optimizations, only Arc Graphics drivers will continue to receive frequent updates.

The new branch focuses on discrete Alchemist and Battlemage GPUs, as well as Xe-LPG and Xe2-LPG integrated implementations. Interestingly, the driver page indicates that not all Raptor Lake chips are included in the new branch. The full support list mentions Core 100U/H and 200H/E/T chips, which are technically Raptor Lake. The new drivers also cover Bartlett Lake CPUs. This suggests support is not limited to Xe-LPG, but also extends to certain Xe-LP rebrands.
This change affects how we will report driver updates. Similar to AMD’s approach with pre-RDNA products, we will only cover the latest Arc Graphics branch, since older architectures are now limited to security updates.
