Sapphire X870A PURE high-end motherboard has been listed by retailers

Sapphire set to launch its first X870 motherboard

Retailers started to list new motherboards despite no formal information from Sapphire.

In April, Sapphire formally announced the B650M PURE motherboard, which debuted shortly after in China. The company later showcased this board alongside the X870E NITRO series at Computex, suggesting wider availability.

This month, Sapphire has officially entered the global motherboard market. Its first products include B850 and B650 models from the NITRO series, aimed at the mid-range segment. The X870, however, is still waiting for a formal introduction. These boards have not been released in China either, so the launch may be global from the start.

At some retailers, the Sapphire PURE X870A WIFI7 motherboard is already listed at around 280 EUR. This ATX model is expected to follow the design of the B650M PURE, with the chipset and form factor being the key differences.

With the PURE motherboards, Sapphire now offers matching lines for its NITRO and PURE series, both positioned as premium, while the PULSE remains the entry-level option. This is very much like the company’s Radeon graphics card line-up now.
