Palit Launches GeForce RTX 5050 StormX, a Compact Blackwell GPU

Palit has announced its first GeForce RTX 5050 graphics card with one fan, the StormX. This model is designed for small form factor systems with a compact length of 169.9 mm, but still offers the full performance of this… otherwise slow chip.
The card ships with 8 GB of GDDR6 memory on a 128-bit interface, running at 20 Gbps for 320 GB/s bandwidth. It has a base clock of 2317 MHz and a boost clock of 2572 MHz. There are in fact two models, one is factory-overclocked, one featuring NVIDIA reference specs. The GPU features 2560 CUDA cores. Palit lists the TGP at 130 W, requiring a single 8-pin power connector, with a recommended system power of 550 W.
