New Intel Panther Lake B0_3 stepping spotted, announcement may be near

Intel might unveil Panther Lake details soon

Intel’s next-generation Panther Lake CPUs continue to surface in public code. A new Coreboot update adds support for multiple Panther Lake identifiers, including a fresh B0-3 stepping (CPUID 0xC06C3). Previous entries already listed A0 (0xC06C0) and earlier B0 revisions (0xC06C1, 0xC06C2), confirming that validation is advancing across several silicon revisions.

Panther Lake is built on the Intel 18A process and will combine Cougar Cove P-cores with Darkmont E-cores. Some mobile SKUs are also expected to include LP-E cores. Configurations seen in earlier leaks point to up to 4 performance cores, 8 efficiency cores, and 4 low-power efficiency cores in thin-and-light designs.

Graphics are handled by Arc Xe3 “Celestial” iGPU, with support for up to 12 Xe3 cores depending on the tier. PCI IDs for multiple GT levels have already been included in enablement, suggesting a broader GPU segmentation than Lunar Lake.

Intel recently hosted a private Technology Tour for invited media, during which Panther Lake systems were reportedly demonstrated. Without naming any journalists, we saw social media posts confirming that Panther Lake showcase already happened. However, Intel has not yet announced any public press briefing.

According to Intel’s own roadmaps, Panther Lake systems are expected to ship in 2026.
