Thermal Grizzly launches Minus Pad xtreme 2 and Minus Pad High Compression

New thermal pads from Thermal Grizzly

Thermal Grizzly has announced two new thermal pads aimed at enthusiasts and modders: Minus Pad extreme 2 and Minus Pad High Compression.

If your graphics card is a need for new thermal pads, perhaps Thermal Grizzly’s premium pad series, which was just updated, might be something worth to consider.

The Minus Pad extreme 2 is the successor to the company’s well-known Minus Pad extreme. It uses a new material mix of aluminum oxide, hydroxide, and powder to improve thermal interface performance while keeping costs lower. The pad maintains high thermal conductivity, is electrically non-conductive, and does not require curing. Its softer consistency helps it adapt better to surfaces, reducing thermal resistance between components and heatsinks. It is available in sizes 100 × 100 mm and 120 × 20 mm, with thicknesses from 0.5 mm up to 3 mm. Pricing starts at $64.23 for a 100 × 100 mm pad.

The Minus Pad High Compression (HC) is designed for situations where a single pad must cover components of different heights, such as when installing GPU water blocks or replacing pads on graphics cards. Thanks to its high compressibility, it can bridge uneven gaps while maintaining or even improving thermal conductivity under pressure. This makes it useful when the exact pad thickness is unknown or when working across VRAM, voltage regulators, and other contact points. It comes in 120 × 100 mm size, with thicknesses from 1 mm to 5 mm, and is priced at $23.28 for a pack of two.
