Corsair updates XG3 Hybrid waterblock for GeForce RTX 5080/5070 series GPUs

Corsair XG3 RGB Hybrid is a water block with a fan for RTX 50 GPUs

Corsair’s XG3 RGB Hybrid uses a raised cooler design: a copper cold plate and channels handle the GPU and memory, while a small top fan pushes air across the PCB and VRM. Because the cooler sits above the board and avoids most components, it can fit a broader range of cards than full-contact blocks.

The block ties into Corsair’s iCUE LINK ecosystem (system hub required) for power, RGB, and monitoring. It ships with pre-applied TIM and memory pads, and works with Corsair XL coolant and iCUE software for temperature control and lighting.

Compatibility covers RTX 50-series models such as RTX 5080, 5070 Ti, and 5070 from ASUS (TUF/Prime/ROG Strix/Dual), MSI (Ventus/Gaming Trio/Vanguard), Palit (GamingPro/GameRock), Zotac (SOLID/SOLID CORE/AMP Extreme), PNY (Triple Fan/EPIC-X), INNO3D (X3/Twin X2), Galax/KFA2 (EX Gamer/1-Click OC), Gainward (Phoenix/Phantom), and more. Exclusions include all RTX 5090, NVIDIA Founders Edition, and most Gigabyte models due to mounting differences. Check the full list here .

The XG3 RGB Hybrid is priced at $179.99 on Corsair site and $154 at Amazon, which is quite a lot, given that you still need the actual liquid loop. I think it will be an interesting solution to those who already have Corsair cooling installed and just want to have everything controlled by iCue system. I would suggest checking with the GPU vendor if you can remove the cooler and keep the warranty first, though.
