Sparkle unveils Arc Pro B60 Dual server with 16 GPUs and up to 768 GB of VRAM, comes with 10,800W PSU

Sparkle presents C741-6U-Dual 16P system supporting up to 16 Arc Pro B60 Dual 48GB cards, 768GB VRAM

Who says large VRAM can only come with data center GPUs?

How much memory is enough? For AI training, there’s probably no such limit, although it’s unclear whether splitting the memory pool into 24 or 48 GB banks is better than using 100 GB or even 200 GB on a single card. One thing seems clear, this solution will be cheaper than standard AI data center products.

Sparkle has announced the C741-6U-Dual 16P system. We came across it while checking for new cards, but to our surprise, Sparkle is using Arc Pro B60 graphics cards, a product technically marketed as a workstation GPU.

The company developed a special system that expands multi-GPU support to 16 cards in one chassis. It uses a Microchip IC that extends PCIe connectivity to 16 slots, with each GPU having its own PCIe 5.0 x8 interface. Notably, Sparkle is using 16 Arc Pro B60 Dual cards, which means each of the 16 cards includes two Battlemage BMG-G21 GPUs.

This setup results in a single server with 81,920 GPU cores, 768 GB of VRAM, and a minimum power consumption of around 6,400 W. Sparkle confirmed that its Arc Pro B60 Dual cards have a 400 W TBP, similar to MaxSun’s Dual Turbo series.

This is arguably one of the most crazy products Sparkle has built so far. For those concerned about Battlemage GPUs finding a market, apparently there is one. The C741-6U system is available in two configurations, supporting either 24 GB models or dual 48 GB variants, both paired with 4th or 5th Gen Xeon Scalable processors. The “C741” refers to the chipset used.

One interesting detail is the power supply configuration: the 768 GB model uses five 2,700 W units (totaling 10,800 W), while the 384 GB version includes four 2,400 W units (7,200 W).

Sparkle hasn’t listed a price; interested buyers must contact the company directly for details.
