Dell’s “most powerful handheld” yet?

Dell has launched two new “handhelds”, though at nearly three times the price of most gaming systems, that word might be generous. The Pro Rugged 10 and Pro Rugged 12 are full-fledged Lunar Lake-based Copilot+ PCs wrapped in military-grade shells, designed to survive drops, dust, and high-pressure water, all while running Windows 11 Pro (so just like gaming handhelds?).
Both models feature Intel Core Ultra 200V processors with NPUs, dual hot-swappable batteries, and removable SSDs, making them some of the most modular Windows tablets Dell has ever built. They’re rated IP66, tested to MIL-STD-810H, and even support operation with gloves and wet hands.

The larger Pro Rugged 12 includes a 12-inch FHD+ 1200-nit display, while the smaller Pro Rugged 10 sticks with a 10-inch 1000-nit panel. Both use Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and optional 5G and Wi-Fi 7 connectivity. Configurations include Intel Arc 130V/140V graphics, 16 or 32 GB LPDDR5x-8533 memory, and a 256 GB removable SSD. Security and enterprise options include vPro Enterprise support, TPM 2.0, and optional smartcard and fingerprint readers.

Inside, buyers can configure the Pro Rugged 10 with a range of Intel Core Ultra 5 and Ultra 7 processors, all part of the 200V series with integrated NPUs. Options include the Core Ultra 5 226V, 236V, 238V , and the higher-end Core Ultra 7 266V and 268V models.
The Dell Pro Rugged 10 is now listed in Europe starting at €2,908.84. Despite its compact size, this may be the most powerful “handheld” Lunar Lake device yet—though one priced firmly in workstation territory.
