Edifier unveils desktop speaker that looks like a gaming PC, with fake GPUs and RGB fans

You can now buy a speaker that looks like a gaming PC

Edifier has made a speaker that wants to be a desktop computer. The new Huazai New Cyber model comes in a transparent case, filled with RGB lights, a fake GPU (two even) and even a tiny display showing CPU or RAM activity, just like a real PC, only louder (unless you are still using GTX 580).

Priced at 1,499 yuan (around $210), the New Cyber mixes serious audio gear with gamer aesthetics. It includes a 4-inch subwoofer, three passive radiators for deeper bass, and two 52 mm mid-high drivers for clarity. It connects through Bluetooth, USB, or analog input, and even has USB-A and USB-C ports to charge your phone — because why shouldn’t your speaker double as a USB hub?

The upper half is transparent, showing off internal components laid out to resemble a small PC build, complete with braided cables and heat sink–style panels. The highlight, though, is five circular RGB lights that imitate spinning cooling fans. They pulse and change color while music plays, giving the impression your speaker is running Crysis.

There’s also a 2.8-inch mini screen that displays song lyrics or system stats when plugged into a computer. It’s available in aurora white or phantom black, though for now it’s limited to China. If it ever launches worldwide, this could be the only “PC” you’ll proudly run at full volume.
