Lenovo Designs Custom LEGION Radeon RX 9070 XT GPU

While Lenovo isn't typically known for its custom GPUs, the company is developing customized designs for its desktops, which are shipped in large quantities. Today, we have learned that Lenovo has created a LEGION Radeon RX 9070 XT GPU with a unique cooler. This GPU is part of the 2025 Blade 7000P, Lenovo's Mobile on Desktop (MoDT) gaming PC, which can be configured with either an AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX3D or Ryzen 9 8945HX processor. Details about the GPU are limited, but it follows the standard AMD specifications: 4,096 stream processors, 16 GB of GDDR6 memory, and 64 MB of L3 cache. We can assume the GPU clocks will remain close to AMD's factory settings, which include a base clock of 1,660 MHz, a game clock of 2,400 MHz, and a boost clock of 2,970 MHz.

The card features an intriguing design, with a three-slot cooler housed in a dark gray shroud and a black LEGION-themed backplate. RGB lighting adds to the aesthetic, with an illuminated top side panel that can match any color scheme. Lenovo will include these GPUs as part of their pre-built systems, meaning consumers won't be able to purchase them separately unless they disassemble Lenovo's 2025 Blade 7000P MoDT PC.
