Gigabyte releases additional images of the AORUS RTX 5060 Ti AI BOX

Gigabyte has shared new photos of its upcoming AORUS RTX 5060 Ti AI BOX, confirming several design and connectivity details that were not visible before. The compact external GPU enclosure is based on the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16GB desktop GPU and connects through Thunderbolt 5 for both power and data transfer.
The new images reveal a clearer look at the port layout. The rear panel includes three DisplayPort outputs, one HDMI port, an Ethernet jack, and a Thunderbolt 5 USB-C port that supports DisplayPort Alt Mode. There is also a separate USB-C power input, confirming that the power supply unit is external rather than integrated.

On the front, the AI BOX provides two USB-A ports, one USB-C port, and a power button, allowing it to function as a compact docking station for peripherals. Gigabyte’s WindForce cooling system with dual fans is used for GPU cooling, and RGB lighting is visible through the front grille.

Gigabyte previously stated that the RTX 5060 Ti AI BOX delivers performance within 5% of a desktop RTX 5060 Ti while adding docking and charging capabilities through Thunderbolt 5. However, the company still has not confirmed pricing or retail availability for this model (despite ‘launching’ the system in September).
