A video of a dog in southwestern China driving a four-wheeled mobility scooter has taken the internet by storm.

The talented canine, who can also skateboard, turn on lights, and even take out the rubbish, has left many people amazed.

Captured in Meishan, Sichuan province, the black dog was filmed standing on the scooter, paws on the steering wheel, barking as it cruised along the road.

The clip shows the vehicle moving steadily in a straight line while a pickup truck passes by.

A stunned onlooker exclaims: “I must be seeing things. A dog is driving!”

According to a local media outlet Flash News, a traffic police officer eventually stopped the animal.
