Intel is testing the Core Ultra 5 338H Panther Lake CPU with B-Series GPU
First Panther Lake on official Intel reference platform.

The new leak from Geekbench featuring a Panther Lake mobile CPU confirms two things. First is the name of the third 3×8 SKU, which is Core Ultra 5 338H, not X5 338H. The X will therefore be exclusive to the full iGPU variants: X9 388H and X7 368H. Naming has no doubt become quite confusing this generation, even more than Meteor and Lunar Lake.
The second thing that this leak confirms is the name of the integrated graphics. In short, Intel announced that Panther Lake will use Arc B-Series GPU names, despite the fact that these are officially Xe3 graphics. The natural choice would be C-Series given they are derived from Celestial, as announced by Intel years ago. In reality, Intel has shifted Celestial to Xe3p architecture and Xe3 is, how Intel describes, a Xe2 Plus/Prime , basically a better version of the Battlemage series. Keep in mind Battlemage/Celestial refer to discrete GPUs, but we are using them for simplicity.
The Core Ultra 5 338H will feature Arc B370 graphics . This is presumably an upgrade over Arc A140T, as featured in Lunar Lake. There’s no “T” in the GPU name, nor was there a 300 series. So not only has Intel used “B” from Battlemage, they also skipped Arc GPU naming to add that little bit of confusion. Clearly Intel marketing teams are working overtime to make things as complicated as possible.

So in short, Panther Lake CPUs are called 300 series and their integrated graphics are also called 300 series. The B370 should have 10 Xe3 cores, while presumably B390 will get 12 Xe3 cores.
In terms of performance, the B370 scores above Intel Arc 140T, but barely. We are not sure if this is the final score, because it doesn’t look good in this case. It should have more Xe2 cores, better architecture, yet the score is only 4% better than Lunar Lake. We assume this is because it’s an early reference platform and drivers aren’t matured, but we often say this and sometimes scores don’t improve.

We have updated our chart to note that X5 338H is actually 5 338H without X, plus the B370 GPU name. We should also include Arc B380 or B390 in the lineup for graphics, but we are not 100% sure yet so let’s update it when we have more details. If I were to guess, the 4 Xe3 core version might be called Arc B350 or something like that.
