AMD now has 4 Ryzen X3D CPUs incoming

The company is set to launch 6, 8 and 16-core variants.

AMD clearly sees the advantage of X3D technology, and so do gamers. The company is reportedly preparing two high-end Ryzen 9000X3D CPUs with either 16 or 8 cores, higher clocks, and possibly dual 3D V-Cache variants. That is as far as current rumors go.

We also have semi-official confirmation of a Ryzen 5 9600X3D. This SKU appeared in AMD’s driver section, which effectively confirms its existence. But this is not the full list.

According to data shared by @momomo_us , AMD will also introduce a Ryzen 5 7500X3D, an entry-level Raphael-based CPU. A UK retailer listed the product with a full OPN code ( 100-000001904 ) that does not match any existing SKU. If the specifications follow the same pattern as the Ryzen 5000X3D series, this model should feature 6 cores , similar to how the 5600X3D and 5500X3D were positioned.

To make things easier to compare, we prepared a chart of all Ryzen X3D SKUs to date, including the new (in orange) and already released models (in gray). Specifications are not fully confirmed yet, but both the 9600X3D and 7500X3D are expected to have 102 MB of combined 3D V-Cache and L2, with the 9000 series using the newer generation of X3D. We can also assume the 7500X3D will have a 65 W TDP and a boost clock below 4.7 GHz, likely around 300–400 MHz lower than the 7600X3D.

There is no release date yet. The general expectation is that these CPUs will appear as part of a broader update around CES 2026 , roughly 10 weeks from now. AMD has a consistent history of timing such updates with CES. There is also no indication of another X3D chip for the AM4 socket, suggesting the lineup ends with the 5500X3D.
