Boost your caffeine clocks with a 5090 PCB coaster
It’s a perfect size to be a drink coaster.

Yesterday when I was looking for materials for my post about the RTX 5090 Founder Edition story, I came across something cool. I’ve been long considering buying a 3D printer, and perhaps this project might have sealed the deal for me.
As we remember, the RTX 5090/5080 cards use a three-board design, and the main PCB is a neat rectangle. Someone looked at that shape and apparently thought: perfect shape for a drink coaster.

Yes, there is now a 3D-printable coaster shaped like the RTX 5090 FE main PCB. Same outline, same component positions, just flat and ready to hold your coffee mug. Adding some resin would make this a long lasting coaster.
The model is by jq91018, who describes it simply as “A drink coaster in the shape of the RTX 5090 Founders Edition’s main PCB assembly.” Sadly there is no RTX 5080 version as far as I know.
Give it ten years and some 5090 FE owners might end up using the real thing for the same purpose.
