ASRock has new Challenger card with Navi 44 GPU

ASRock has introduced a new Radeon RX 9060 XT graphics card under the Challenger series called the Standard Edition . Despite not carrying the OC label, the card still ships with factory-overclocked clocks compared to AMD’s reference specifications.

The Standard Edition (RX9060XT CL 16G) is listed with:

• Boost Clock: 3230 MHz (AMD reference clock: 3130 MHz)
• Game Clock: 2620 MHz (AMD reference clock: 2530 MHz)

So while ASRock markets this model as a regular Challenger card, it is already clocked above AMD baseline. The actual Challenger OC SKU (RX9060XT CL 16GO) increases this further to:

• Boost Clock: 3290 MHz
• Game Clock: 2700 MHz

Aside from the clock differences, both cards share the same cooler. The design uses a dual-fan layout, metal backplate, and an LED on/off switch . There is a single 8-pin power connector , and display output consists of two DisplayPort 2.1a and one HDMI 2.1b .

Buyers should pay attention to model names, since the “Standard Edition” is not stock-clocked even though its name suggests it might be.

ASRock has not made any public announcements about this graphics card, it only appeared on the website today. So the price difference to the OC model is not clear. Keep in mind there is no 8GB ‘Standard Edition’ version yet.
