Gigabyte now has a proper flagship board for AMD AM5 CPUs
Comes with a bit unusual accessory set.
Benchlife has published what appears to be the world’s first unboxing of Gigabyte’s upcoming X870E AORUS XTREME X3D AI TOP motherboard, a flagship model that’s not yet listed on Gigabyte’s own website, but was revealed during a Computex press event.
The first thing that stands out is the packaging. The box is massive, even larger than the one used for the C621 AORUS XTREME. Inside, the presentation is extravagant, with layered compartments that open automatically to reveal the board. But what really caught attention were the unexpected accessories.

Gigabyte includes a 375 ml thermos cup, a wine opener (or as Benchlife puts it, “a knife”), and a series of unusual hardware add-ons. These include a CPU anti-bending frame, a USB-C DAC, and dedicated heatsinks for both M.2 SSDs and DDR5 memory. The memory cover is designed to hide or cool “ugly” modules, while the M.2 heatsink has its own built-in fan powered through a concealed POCO PIN connector.

Benchlife demonstrated the setup using Corsair’s Dominator Titanium memory, confirming that the cooler fits without clearance issues. The media is already working on a review, but as far as we know there’s no official price and release date for this board yet.
It’s worth keeping in mind that these flagship motherboards are not really designed for the DIY market, they serve as showpieces for influencers, and they are rarely seen in actual builds. Unless, of course, someone has $1000+ lying around.
