GTBOX T1 Mini PC launches with built-in stereo speakers
What will be louder, fan or the speaker?
GTBOX has launched a new Mini PC called the T1, powered by AMD’s Ryzen 7 8745HS processor with 8 Zen 4 cores and Radeon 780M graphics. The specs are fine, but the real highlight is something you don’t usually see in this category: built-in stereo speakers.
According to GTBOX, these speakers are designed for voice calls, chatting, and conferencing. That sounds convenient until you notice there’s only one cooling fan and no mention of noise cancellation. So the question is simple: during a meeting, what’s louder, the fan or the speaker? They don’t give answer for that.

We did, however, ask GTBOX about the speakers. The company confirmed that the system uses two 5-watt speakers. That’s good enough for audiobooks or podcasts, but not exactly what you’d want for music. The built-in mic is supposed to make conferencing easier, but with a single fan running close to your desk, it might end up joining the conversation too.

GTBOX also released an internal structure image showing the fan, SSD, and DDR5 memory, along with a warning that users shouldn’t open or disassemble the system , as it’s “non-reversible after opening.” That likely means the T1 offers almost no upgrade potential, so the $549.99 configuration with 32 GB of DDR5 memory and a 1 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD is probably the only one available.
