Intel again partners with Samsung for Galaxy Pro laptop series
Sixth generation also comes with Intel CPUs.

Over at Geekbench, we can find the first tests of Intel’s new Panther Lake processor in an AI benchmark. The Core Ultra 300 series will feature an even faster NPU for local processing, which is one of the key upgrades alongside the new CPU and GPU cores.
Apparently, the Galaxy Book 6 Pro will come with a Panther Lake chip called the Core Ultra 5 338H. It’s interesting that so far, leaks only include this sub-series of Panther Lake, even though we know there are at least two other versions planned for gaming laptops and low-power systems. The 3_8H chips appear to be a direct successor to Lunar Lake, which was a one-off product with a memory-on-package design.
Samsung Galaxy Book Pro Series
- 2021 — Galaxy Book Pro (11th-gen Intel “Tiger Lake”)
- 2022 — Galaxy Book2 Pro (12th-gen Intel “Alder Lake”)
- 2023 — Galaxy Book3 Pro (13th-gen Intel “Raptor Lake”)
- 2024 — Galaxy Book4 Pro (Intel Core Ultra 100 “Meteor Lake”)
- 2025 — Galaxy Book5 Pro (Intel Core Ultra 200 “Lunar Lake”)
- 2026 – Galaxy Book6 Pro (Intel Core Ultra 300 “Panther Lake”) 🆕
The Book 6 Pro will feature the Ultra 5 338H CPU , which, according to unofficial information, has 4 P-Cores, 4 E-Cores, and 4 LP-Cores. The specs listed by Geekbench appear to have merged the E and LP cores into one cluster (hence it shows 8), but the total core count of 12 matches earlier leaks. This CPU is also expected to feature Arc B370 integrated graphics with 10 Xe3 cores.

The test also confirms the system has 32 GB of memory, most likely LPDDR5X, though the speed is unknown. Unfortunately, AI benchmarks are difficult to compare, and in this case, the test was run on the CPU, so it doesn’t even use the new NPU. However, when compared to the CPU ONNX test of the Core Ultra 7 258V (Lunar Lake), there is a clear improvement here, though it’s still far behind GPU-based AI benchmarks, which are always faster.
According to SamMobile , Samsung will also bring back its Galaxy Book 6 Ultra laptop, but no details are available yet. They did confirm that the Book 6 Pro will feature 65.9 Wh and 76.6 Wh batteries for the 14- and 16-inch versions, a minor increase over the Book 5 Pro series.
