ORICO introduces OmniPro, a compact AI desktop inspired by the Mac Pro design
The smaller Apple Mac Pro clone is powered by a Ryzen 7 8845HS APU
ORICO has officially launched the OmniPro, its first AI-powered desktop PC that borrows heavily from Apple’s Mac Pro aesthetic but comes in a much smaller chassis. At just 139 × 61 × 185 mm, the system is less than one-fifth the size of a Mac Pro, yet it adopts a similar aluminum tower look with a perforated front panel and a handle on top.
Inside, the OmniPro is powered by AMD’s Ryzen 7 8845HS (Hawk Point) processor, featuring 8 cores and 16 threads with boost clocks up to 5.1 GHz, alongside Radeon 780M graphics with 12 RDNA3 compute units at 2700 MHz. ORICO lists an “AI compute power” of 38 TOPS, but this number combines both GPU and NPU performance. The Hawk Point APU itself includes an NPU rated at only 16 TOPS. So much for ‘AI’.

The compact desktop supports 32 GB of DDR5-5600 SO-DIMM memory, dual PCIe 4.0 M.2 2280 SSDs with up to 2 TB capacity, and features Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity. It includes multiple ports, and here we have full specs.

Built from a mix of aluminum alloy and plastic, the system is designed to balance performance, quiet operation, and minimalist aesthetics, effectively positioning it as a Mac Mini–class AI desktop with a Mac Pro–style design.
