Abxylute 3D One handheld heads to crowdfunding mid-November
I haven’t seen many positive reactions to this system so far, and several people say that once they realized how much larger it is than the Steam Deck, they no longer want anything bigger than Valve’s handheld. You might reach the same conclusion, or this device might convince you that you actually want something larger and more flexible.
The Abxylute 3D One is a very large handheld with a 10.95-inch 2,560 x 1,600 LTPS LCD screen. It works as a handheld with a built-in stand, but also as a tablet or small laptop with the right accessories, and the gamepads can be detached and used as a wireless controller. The key feature is the display, which uses a glasses-free 3D system with eye-tracking and a secondary TN layer to send separate images to each eye. Abxylute says around 50 Steam games are tuned for a “deep effect mode”, while extra software can convert photos and videos into 3D.

Inside, the 3D One uses Intel’s Core Ultra 258V Lunar Lake processor, 32 GB of LPDDR5X memory, a 1 TB SSD, and a 50 Wh battery. The system weighs 1.11 kg and includes a kickstand for desk use. Abxylute has also shown a clip-on keyboard to turn it into a more traditional productivity device, though it is unclear if this will be bundled.

The handheld is set to launch on crowdfunding platform around November 13. Abxylute targets a $1,499 Early Bird tier with a later $1,799 MSRP. A $150 VIP deposit placed before the campaign starts gives a $200 discount on the Early Bird price and a free Abxylute C6 wireless controller, with 48 hours after launch to redeem the coupon; unused deposits will be refunded after the campaign ends.
Needless to say, no review, no preorders. Also let’s not forget Core Ultra 200 is nearly 1 year old at this point.
