ASUS launches 540Hz ROG Swift OLED PG27AQWP-W and 280Hz Strix OLED XG27AQWMG
ASUS ROG is rolling out two 27 inch 1440p Tandem OLED gaming monitors: the ROG Swift OLED PG27AQWP-W and the ROG Strix OLED XG27AQWMG. Both use a WOLED panel with TrueBlack Glossy coating, 99.5% DCI-P3 coverage, VESA DisplayHDR 500 True Black support, and the full ASUS OLED Care Pro suite with Neo Proximity Sensor.
PG27AQWP-W
The PG27AQWP-W targets esports with a 540 Hz refresh rate and dual-mode support. A hotkey lets users switch between QHD at 540 Hz and 720p at 720 Hz. (yes it’s 720p, not 1080p as some media outlets claimed).
The panel is rated at 0.02 ms GtG, with DisplayPort 2.1 , HDMI 2.1, and VRR support via G-SYNC Compatible and FreeSync Premium Pro. ASUS lists the MSRP at 1099 USD.
Strix OLED XG27AQWMG
The Strix OLED XG27AQWMG offers a 280 Hz 1440p panel (no Dual-Mode) with 0.03 ms GtG and a more compact stand, plus DisplayPort 1.4 (DSC), HDMI 2.1, and the same Tandem OLED and OLED Care features. Its MSRP is 599 USD.
ASUS says both models are available, but our quick check shows only preorder listings and ETAs at retailers so far, with no units in stock yet.
