Intel Core Ultra 7 255U and 5 225U “Arrow Lake” CPUs are now available on Pico-ITX boards

AAEON releases smallest Arrow Lake Pico-ITX board PICO-ARU4 for embedded and industrial use

AAEON has launched the PICO-ARU4, a Pico-ITX single-board computer based on Intel Core Ultra (Series 2, Arrow Lake), described as the world’s first Arrow Lake-based Pico-ITX and currently the smallest Arrow Lake platform on the market at 100 x 72 mm. The board targets embedded and industrial applications such as handheld diagnostic devices and outdoor roadside units.

PICO-ARU4 is offered with either a 15W Intel Core Ultra 7 255U or Core Ultra 5 225U and up to 32GB of soldered LPDDR5-6400 memory. Worth noticing that the CPU is mounted on the underside of the PCB, which suits custom and fanless enclosures common in industrial designs. Display output includes HDMI and eDP for dual-display setups, backed by Intel Graphics.
