ZOTAC GeForce RTX 5080 and 5070 Ti APOCALYPSE graphics cards now available in the US

ZOTAC debuts APOCALYPSE GPU series for US market

I did not see this coming, but we heard rumors. The APOCALYPSE series, which was so far only available in China and some Asian countries, has made a formal debut on Newegg , which is the only retailer offering these cards in the US.

We checked and this is not a third-party listing but Newegg itself. The store also lists proper ZOTAC product codes that match the global naming scheme, so this is a formal launch of the series for the US market. There is no sign yet of APOCALYPSE cards coming to Europe or other regions.

Officially there are two models, the GeForce RTX 5080 APOCALYPSE OC and RTX 5070 Ti APOCALYPSE OC . The RTX 5080 is listed at $1,249, while the RTX 5070 Ti comes in at $849, which puts them $249 and $100 above NVIDIA’s reference prices for these GPUs.

The APOCALYPSE line stands out through its white shroud, heavy use of ARGB lighting, and the ring-shaped LED around the central fan. ZOTAC originally presented this series with a Mayan style, and later attached a dedicated character that now covers the box art. The same (dragonfly?) wing motifs from that artwork appear in the shroud design, so the card and its packaging are clearly built as a matching set.

Under the cooler, the RTX 5070 Ti APOCALYPSE OC uses NVIDIA’s Blackwell GPU with 8,960 CUDA cores, paired with 16GB of GDDR7 on a 256-bit bus. The memory runs at 28 Gbps, while the boost clock is set to 2,572 MHz according to ZOTAC’s spec sheet. The card connects over PCIe 5.0 x16 and targets both gaming and creator workloads with support for DLSS 4, RTX effects, and the standard Game Ready and Studio driver stack.

Cooling is handled by the IceStorm 3.0 system with a vapor chamber, triple BladeLink fans, and a full metal backplate. ZOTAC includes dual BIOS and features such as FREEZE fan stop and Active Fan Control, so fans spin down at idle and can be tuned per-fan in software. The card also supports SPECTRA 2.0 ARGB lighting and the SPECTRA LINK interface for syncing lighting with other compatible ZOTAC hardware.

Display outputs are standard for this generation: three DisplayPort 2.1b with UHBR20 and one HDMI 2.1b. The card can drive up to four displays and supports high-refresh 4K and 8K modes with DSC. ZOTAC rates the RTX 5070 Ti APOCALYPSE OC for up to 300 W board power and recommends an 800 W power supply. Power is delivered over a single 12V-2×6 connector, and the box includes three 8-pin-to-16-pin adapters plus a GPU support stand.

The RTX 5080 APOCALYPSE OC follows the same design language but steps up to a faster Blackwell GPU with 10,752 CUDA cores and 16GB of GDDR7 running at 30 Gbps on a 256-bit bus. Newegg lists a 2,617 MHz boost clock and a 360 W TGP, with ZOTAC recommending at least an 850 W PSU for this model.

At this point, from formerly China-exclusive models, Newegg only lists the two APOCALYPSE OC card. There is no PGF-style halo variant or X-Gaming budget model in the US yet, so the APOCALYPSE series is the first time ZOTAC’s anime-branded cards are officially available to local buyers instead of being limited to imports.
