ASUS ROG Matrix RTX 5090 Anniversary Edition now available
ASUS’s ROG Matrix Platinum GeForce RTX 5090 is finally going on sale. Proshop has now confirmed that orders for the card will open today at 2 PM European time, priced at €4,099, matching previous listings from late October and early November.

The retailer also confirms that availability will be restricted, with a hard limit of one card per customer. ASUS already stated that only 1000 units of the 30th Anniversary Edition will be produced, so this batch is aimed at collectors, showcase builds and sponsored systems rather than general retail volume.

ROG Matrix Platinum is based on the GeForce RTX 5090 Blackwell GPU with 21,760 CUDA cores and 32 GB of GDDR7 memory on a 512 bit bus. ASUS configures the card for up to 800W when combined with a compatible BTF high power slot , compared to 600 W through a standard 12V-2×6 cable, which gives extra headroom for heavy overclocking.
The card uses a large quad slot cooler with four axial fans, copper vapor chamber, liquid metal on the GPU and extra copper in the PCB. It also ships with a set of ASUS tuning and monitoring tools such as Thermal Map, Power Detector+ and Memory Defroster , now joined by the Level Sense feature in GPU Tweak III that can monitor card tilt and warn about potential sag.

At €4,099 this remains the most expensive RTX 5090 model in regular European retail so far, excluding a few special import only cards such as certain GALAX Hall of Fame editions coming from China. For standard buyers, two RTX 5090 Founders Edition cards still cost roughly the same as one ROG Matrix, so this launch targets a narrow group of enthusiasts who want ASUS’s anniversary flagship regardless of price.
