ASUS launches EVO with shorter PCB

ASUS has quietly added four new cards to its GeForce RTX 5060 series lineup. The new EVO models introduce a revised cooler, shorter PCB, and, based on our database data , the first physical PCIe 5.0 x8 connector used on any ASUS GPU to date. The cards share a compact 225 × 120 × 42 mm design with a 2.1-slot profile, which should make them a better fit for smaller systems.
The lineup includes RTX 5060 and 5060 Ti variants, each available with and without factory overclocks. All cards use the updated shroud with dual Axial-tech fans, dual-ball bearings, a vented backplate, and 0 dB fan stop, targeting quiet operation at low load.

Clock speeds are as follows:
- RTX 5060 EVO OC
– OC mode: 2565 MHz
– Default mode: 2535 MHz - RTX 5060 EVO
– OC mode: 2527 MHz
– Default mode: 2497 MHz - RTX 5060 Ti EVO OC
– OC mode: 2632 MHz
– Default mode: 2602 MHz - RTX 5060 Ti EVO
– OC mode: 2602 MHz
– Default mode: 2572 MHz
The shorter PCB and new connector layout are the key design changes for these Dual EVO models. ASUS appears to be shifting its mid-range cards to a more compact layout while keeping other features in tact, even the clocks are the same non-EVO models.

For now, these cards are listed on the ASUS website but do not appear at major retailers, and ASUS has not confirmed any pricing.
