Colorful first GPU brand to offer dual power connection options on mid-range RTX 50 cards
Their RTX 5060/5070 models now ship with BTF connector.

The good news is that Colorful has joined ASUS in offering BTF 2.0 compatible graphics cards. What this means is that the new iGame Ultra Z models will have both the GC-HPWR connector and a standard 8-pin or 16-pin connector, depending on the model.
While the new iGame Ultra Z series are no longer equipped with hidden standard power connector design (previous series had hidden backplate cover to conceal cables, the new series now also ship with a GC-HPWR adapter. This adapter does not have to be used, as it only works with compatible motherboards, so users can choose freely between the rear GC-HPWR connector and the regular front power socket.

With this launch Colorful becomes the first brand to offer this type of hidden connector on mid-range cards. Until now, the BTF style connector was limited to ASUS RTX 5070 Ti and RTX 5090 models, which target a much higher price segment. The cheapest card with this connector now drops below 400 USD thanks to the new iGame GeForce RTX 5060 Ultra Z.

All three cards share the same triple-fan cooler and 2.5-slot design. The cooler is 300.5 mm long and covers three different Blackwell GPUs: GB205, GB206 and GB203. The RTX 5070 Ti Ultra Z OC 16GB sits at the top with 8,960 CUDA cores, a 256-bit bus, 16GB of GDDR7 at 28 Gbps and a 300W TDP. Its boost clock is 2,452 MHz, or 2,497 MHz with one-click OC. It’s the card we are showing pictures of above and below:

The RTX 5060 Ti Ultra Z OC 16GB moves down to the GB206 GPU with 4,608 CUDA cores. It still uses 28 Gbps GDDR7, but on a 128-bit bus for 448 GB/s bandwidth and a 180 W TDP. The boost clock reaches 2,572 MHz, or 2,632 MHz with one-click OC. Colorful also offers 8GB model.
The RTX 5060 Ultra Z OC 8GB keeps the same 128-bit, 28 Gbps GDDR7 memory configuration with 448 GB/s bandwidth, but drops to 3,840 CUDA cores and a 145 W TDP. Its boost clock is 2,497 MHz, or 2,580 MHz with one-click OC, and Colorful rates this model at 614 AI TOPS. All three cards offer 3x DisplayPort 2.1b and 1x HDMI 2.1b, support DLSS 4, Reflex and Studio, and ship with zero RPM fan mode.
Approximate pricing (converted to USD) for the new Ultra Z series:
- RTX 5070 Ti 16GB : about $1,050
- RTX 5070 12GB : price not yet available
- RTX 5060 Ti 16GB : about $550
- RTX 5060 Ti 8GB : about $495
- RTX 5060 8GB : about $380
Colorful describes the Ultra Z series as using a “hidden power supply” layout. The rear GC-HPWR header handles power when paired with a compatible back-connect motherboard, while the front 8-pin or 16-pin connector remains in place for standard systems.
