Super X gaming tablet to feature AMD MAX+395 APU, 128GB RAM and liquid cooling

ONEXPLAYER Super X gaming tablet pairs Ryzen AI Max+ 395 with AMOLED display and 83.5 Wh battery

ONEXPLAYER has again previewed its Super X gaming tablet built around AMD’s upcoming Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor , a Strix Halo based APU. The chip combines Zen 5 CPU cores with Radeon 8060S graphics featuring 40 compute units on RDNA 3.5. The company also advertises configurations with up to 1 28 GB of LPDDR5X-8000 .

The company confirms Super X is designed for up to 120W TDP and uses a liquid cooling system . Presumably this refers to the special liquid cooling system that can be attached to the tablet, similarly to what the Apex gaming console has. The description is not clear, but from my understanding there are two variants, one with a liquid cooling connector and one without it.

Super X uses an 14″ AMOLED native landscape screen with 2880×1800 resolution, refresh rate was not confirmed yet. Power comes from an 83.5Wh battery , which is larger than what most handheld PCs and gaming tablets offer.

One more thing we want to add to this article. We were recently notified that ONEXPLAYER is using our site’s logo to promote its products on crowdfunding pages and even claiming that we “praised” their products. This is not true. The manufacturer is using our name without our approval.
