Noctua launches NH-D15 G2 chromax.black for 159 USD, now listed for Intel LGA-1954
Noctua has released the chromax.black version of its NH-D15 G2 cooler, bringing its flagship dual-tower heatsink to an all-black design. The new model pairs a black-coated heatsink with two black NF-A14x25r G2 140 mm fans and is listed at 159 USD (159.90), while the EU price is set at 159.90 EUR and the US MSRP at 189.90 USD (yes, US has its own pricing due to tarrifs).
The chromax.black edition keeps the same core specs as the standard NH-D15 G2. It uses an 8-heatpipe heatsink, a 168 mm total height, and a push-pull configuration with two 140×140×25 mm round-frame fans. Noctua still rates the cooler at 228 NSPR and backs it with a 6-year warranty.

Socket support has been updated to include Intel’s new LGA-1954 alongside AM5, AM4, LGA1700, LGA1851 and older LGA115x/1200 platforms. LGA-1954 is expected to power upcoming Nova Lake-S desktop CPUs planned for 2026/2027, which positions the NH-D15 G2 chromax.black as ready for one more desktop generation without a new mounting kit.

Noctua is also rolling out matching NF-A14x25 G2 chromax.black fans in both square and round frames, sold individually and in dual-fan packs, so users can build full blacked-out airflow setups around the new cooler.
