Intel Core Ultra 200K desktop CPUs get up to 38% off for Black Friday
A big price cut just before the Core Ultra 200K Plus series arrives.

Intel’s Arrow Lake desktop lineup is now discounted for Black Friday, with three unlocked Core Ultra 200K models hitting some of their lowest retail prices to date in the US. At the time of writing, the flagship Core Ultra 9 285K is down from around 599.99 USD to 429.99 USD (28% off), while the Core Ultra 7 265K drops from 394 USD to 245.99 USD (38% off). The Core Ultra 5 245K sits at 229.89 USD, down from 309 USD (26% off). Do note, we are comparing this to launch pricing, and some SKUs received official price cut later.
With the current Black Friday promos, the 265K in particular moves into mid-range territory while still offering a 20-core configuration, which changes its value position against competing AMD Ryzen parts.

The discounts follow an official price adjustment in China earlier this week. There, the Core Ultra 9 285K dropped from 4,799 CNY to 3,599 CNY (25%), the Core Ultra 7 265K from 3,199 CNY to 2,049 CNY (36%), the Core Ultra 5 245K from 2,499 CNY to 1,459 CNY (42%), and the Core Ultra 5 225 from 2,149 CNY to 1,159 CNY (46%).
From a spec perspective, nothing changes on the silicon side. The Core Ultra 9 285K remains a 24-core part with 8 performance cores, 16 efficient cores and boost clocks up to 5.7 GHz, rated at 125 W base power and up to 250 W turbo. The Core Ultra 7 265K offers 20 cores (8P+12E) with up to 5.5 GHz boost, while the Core Ultra 5 245K brings 14 cores (6P+8E) and up to 5.2 GHz boost. All three target the LGA1851 platform with PCIe 5.0 support and DDR5-only memory, which still requires a new motherboard if you are coming from LGA1700.
